NASHVILLE LIVE! (Early March to Early November)

Your taste buds will delight in the flavors of the South during the midday cruise followed by the country music variety show, Nashville Live! The world-class cast includes two rising country artists, country comedy and features fiddle and guitar soloists, along with a live country band. The show’s repertoire spans classic hits by Patsy Cline, George Jones and Tammy Wynette through chart-topping hits by today's hottest artists!

SUNDAY IN THE SOUTH (late April to mid November)

Each Sunday, this rousing show takes you on a musical journey through a typical southern Sunday. An energetic “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” gathers the family together then it's time to head “Down by the Riverside” for old-fashioned salute and sing-a-long to Southern Gospel favorites. Next, the cast sings favorite, number one country songs of the south like “Dixieland Delight”, “Chicken Fried” and “Where I Come From” by some of country music’s biggest stars.

Once the musical meal is complete, it’s time to kick back with some great country “pickin’ and singin’.” Favorite country music story songs and anthems like “Country Roads”, “Rocky Top”, “Grandpa” and “That’s What I Like About the South” fill the air and lift the spirits. As your musical day rolls along the river, there's a segue into an uplifting medley of some of the most inspirational songs from the world of CCM featuring worldwide hits like “Sing, Sing, Sing”, “This is Amazing Grace” and “Nothing is Impossible.” This musical journey wouldn’t be complete without a stirring rendition of one of the south’s most beloved patriotic classics, “American Trilogy.” Elevate your southern pride with our heart-warming and foot-stomping musical journey, Sunday in the South!

Styled in the grand tradition of the paddlewheel riverboats that cruised the great Southern waterways in the 1800s, the General Jackson was named after the first steamboat to operate on the Cumberland River in 1817. Today, it's just as active as its predecessor.

Overall nice cruise. Wanted to sight see more than watch the show. Did not know the boat was not sailing towards the downtown until I asked a crew member.
